Robert Baker is a Chief Technical Officer from Phoenix, Arizona. Since first using a computer at 5 years old, he always knew what he wanted to do. He learned his first language, QuickBasic, at the age of 16 while being a member of the Computer Club. In a few short years, Robert soon discovered C# and has been in love with it ever since. He has contributed to many different open-source projects throughout the years, while helping companies achieve their vision.
In the past, Robert has worked on WinForms and WPF based desktop apps, ASP.NET MVC webapps, AngularJS web apps, and Xamarin mobile apps.
Today, Robert still enjoys writing C#. He is currently focused on architecting cloud-based systems, .net based micro-services, modern web apps, containerizing things in Docker, CI/CD automation, and learning new things. He's currently playing with NextJS and Vue.
The world always seems brighter when you’ve just made something that wasn’t there before. Neil Gaiman
